Teachers are linked up with educators and researchers in developed countries\u00a0in collaborative STEM projects\u00a0for primary and secondary schools.<\/p><p>Driven by WSIS action lines and the\u00a0 SDGs; over 6,000 teachers have been directly imparted, reaching more than 320,000 underprivileged \u00a0and marginalized children and youths with girls comprising over 55% of beneficiaries, since inception.<\/p><p>It\u00a0employs low-cost teaching resources\u00a0such as\u00a0open source softwares and use of\u00a0discarded computers to educate children in slums, rural and remote communities.\u00a0Re-use of old computers\u00a0for hardware classes\u00a0greatly reduces e-wastes, saving\u00a0<strong><b>carbon emission<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0and energy.\u00a0With entrepreneurship,\u00a0digital storytelling,coding, critical life skills and computational thinking\u00a0also\u00a0comprising\u00a0integral components of this project;\u00a0young people are prepared for sustainable livelihoods, innovation and are empowered to use their voices(especially girls) for positive impacts. \u00a0<\/p><p>With about 10.5 million Nigerian children aged 5-14 years out of school, this project, approved by states ministries of education\u00a0immensely\u00a0complements the government\u2019s efforts to provide quality, inclusive and accessible education for children\u00a0and youths\u00a0in the country<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-ac242c1 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"ac242c1\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-row\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-a3032f0\" data-id=\"a3032f0\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4759461 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4759461\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Teachers.Ng provides digital skills, resources and training for teachers in public schools in Nigeria, especially\u00a0for\u00a0those in underserved communities.
